The Dark Knight Rises 

The Dark Knight Rises is a 2012 superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan and the story with David S. Goyer. Featuring the DC Comics character Batman, the film is the third and final installment in Nolan's Batman film trilogy, and is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). Christian Bale reprises the lead role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, with a returning cast of Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as James Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, and Cillian Murphy as Dr. Jonathan Crane.

The film introduces the character of Selina Kyle, played by Anne Hathaway, a cat burglar whose appearance in Gotham City sets in motion a chain of events that will lead Batman to come out of retirement, and Bane, played by Tom Hardy, the story's antagonist.        In my own understanding in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight , Batman could not saved himself but instead saved Gotham. At the first part of the story it introduces some few characters,CIA agents escorting the nuclear scientists, and three prisoners on board on a military aircraft, this prisoners are working under Bane.

Later the aircraft was overpowered by members of criminal-paramilitary unit and crimes takes place, on that scenario some men of Bane climb into a smaller aircraft using ropes, killing agents that could be a reason for a plane crash.

Then next scene was on the Harvey Dent's anniversary celebration, and was hosted by Bruce Wayne and Commissioner Gordon prepares the speech that reveals about the truth about the murders.

And later Selina Kyle was introduced as one of the maids working on Wayne manor, she is a burglar, she was the girl, who stole Bruce's pearl,brokes his room and safety. Bruce is crippled in one leg, approach her, but Selina attacks him and escapes.

   The Summary: In the final part of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman must face a foe unlike any he has ever faced. In The Dark Knight, Batman saved Gotham, but could not save himself. Taking the blame for Harvey Dent's crimes, he was hunted by the Police, and thus had to leave the task of protecting Gotham in Gordon's hands. After what seemed like ages, Gordon finally brought peace to Gotham, and it was enough to convince the Dark Knight that Gotham was safe and that Bruce Wayne need never put on the Batsuit again. However, eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, a new foe emerges, and threatens to destroy Gotham. When this masked foe Bane proves too much for Gordon to handle, Batman must break his 8-year exile and return to defeat Bane from fulfilling his devious plan and claim his rightful place as the true Savior of Gotham.(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1345836/synopsis)

The Dark Knight Rises is an ambitious, thoughtful, and potent action film that concludes Christopher Nolan's franchise in spectacular fashion, even if it doesn't quite meet the high standard set by its predecessor.

   The script, by Nolan and his brother Jonathan, takes a few vague pokes at Wall Street and the financial elite but mainly revives the ponderous psychodrama of the first movie.
